Commissioner Gordon was a German punk rock band from Berlin .
history
Commissioner Gordon was founded in 2003 in Eberswalde , Brandenburg, as a result of an acoustic guitar project by guitarists and singers Till and Matte .
In 2006 Commissioner Gordon released their debut album on the next ... buckle up! with the Freiburg label Flight 13 and the Cologne-based label Rookie Records , known for albums by groups such as Lonely Kings, Turbostaat , Terrorgruppe , and Spermbirds . The album will be distributed with the next ... buckle up! from the Wuppertal label Cargo Records . The first airplay was on Star FM . Commissioner Gordon played concerts with bands such as Rantanplan , Neuser and Sportfreunde Stiller .

Commissioner Gordon played German-language, slow punk rock in the style of Muff Potter and Duesenjaeger . The band also uses female vocals, which is rather unusual in this genre.
