The Communauté de communes Hardouinais Mené is a former French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Département Côtes-d'Armor , the administrative seat of which was in Merdrignac . Its catchment area was in the southeast of the department. The community association founded on December 24, 1992 consisted of nine communities and counted 7,835 (as of 2013) on an area of 249.68 km 2
Tasks of the community association
Since the majority of the municipalities were very small and had mayors (maires) as a secondary office, the communauté was responsible for various tasks of the municipalities involved. There were departments led by vice-presidents of the community association (leisure activities / finances / staff / public buildings; tourism / trade and commerce; long-term planning / spatial planning and housing construction; community spirit and health; children / youth / sport / culture; rural development / road construction and environmental protection) who directed cross-community tasks.
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community associations merged with CIDERAL and thus formed the successor organization Loudéac Communauté - Bretagne Center .
