The Communauté de communes de Tallard-Barcillonnette was a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Hautes-Alpes in the region of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . The community association comprised 12 communities and has its administrative headquarters in Tallard .
Historical development
On December 30, 1992, today's Communauté de communes emerged from the District des Cantons de Tallard et Barcillonnette , which has its origins in the SIVOM du Canton de Tallard , which was founded on December 29, 1964 . It is named after the two places Tallard and Barcillonnette and is considered to be the oldest communauté de communes in the Hautes-Alpes department.
On January 1, 2017, the community association with the two communities Claret and Curbans from the Communauté de communes de La Motte du Caire-Turriers merged to form the new Communauté d'agglomération Gap-Tallard-Durance .
