The Communauté de communes les Châteaux is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Alsatian department of Bas-Rhin in the Grand Est region . It was founded on December 11, 2000 and consisted of five communities, each with at least one castle ( chateau ). The administrative seat was in Breuschwickersheim .
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association was dissolved and the former member communities integrated into the metropolis of Strasbourg .
