Compact Disco is a Hungarian electro-pop band.

After it was founded in 2008, two albums and various singles and music videos were released. The group also made a name for itself as a live band in Hungary. The group was named "Best Hungarian Artist" at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards . In February, the group was voted the winner of the Hungarian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest by televoting and was therefore allowed to compete in the first semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with their pop song Sound of our Hearts . Here the group made it into the final of the competition, which took place four days later, where they came in 24th.
