Telat Yurtsever

Telat Yurtsever (* 1964 in Kars , Turkey ) is a German theater director.

Yurtsever studied directing at the University of Hamburg . As a student of Jürgen Flimm , he founded the independent drama group “Company Hamburg” in 1999, which works in the field of tension between theater, reading and performance theater. Since then, Yurtsever has primarily staged with this u. a. at the Thalia Theater (Hamburg) , at the Hamburger Kammerspiele , at the State Theaters in Karlsruhe and Ankara and at the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg . The native Turk, who occasionally also staged in Turkish (for example at the Istasyon Theater in Hamburg ), also writes his own stage texts and programs.
