The Comunità Montana del Velino is an association of a total of nine municipalities in the Italian region of Lazio . It was formed by the usually quite small communities, which are at least partly in mountainous regions, in order to strengthen the region's economic development and to stop the population from emigrating. Further tasks are the strengthening of tourism, nature conservation and the preservation of rural culture.
The area of the Comunità Montana del Velino covers an area of 72,142 hectares and has a total of around 11,000 inhabitants.
