The Conard Peak is a 2230 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the northern flank of Hearfield Glacier and five miles north of Aldridge Peak in the Cartographers Range of the Victory Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements of aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1970 after Ralph Whittier Conard (1936-2013), a member of the ground crew of the VX flight squadron -6 at Williams Field off Ross Island during Operation Deep Freeze in 1968.
