Constantin Bosianu

Constantin Bosianu (born February 10, 1815 in Bucharest ; † March 21, 1882 , ibid) was a Romanian lawyer and politician .

Life

Born in Bucharest, the lawyer was an honorary member of the Romanian Academy and first dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest . From January 26, 1865 to June 4, 1865, the moderately conservative politician was Prime Minister of the country, as well as Minister of the Interior and Minister of Agriculture and Public Works. Bosianu later took over the post of mayor of the Romanian capital for two weeks from December 1 to 15, 1878. He was also President of the Senate from May 29, 1879 to November 17, 1879. Constantin Bosianu died in Bucharest at the age of 67.
