Copa Parmalat
The Copa Parmalat was a football competition organized by the food company Parmalat, based near the Italian city of Parma , in the 1990s among the teams of which it was a shirt sponsor . International high-class clubs have always participated, including - in addition to the ones listed below - Benfica Lisbon , Videoton FC and Audax Italiano . 1995 also joined the United States national team . In the first few years the event had an original tournament character with group games, semi-finals and games for third place. The number of participants was five in 1993, six the following year and four in 1995. The events in 1996 and 1998 consisted only of a single final game between two opponents.
