Coralies is an Argentinian mathcore band from Buenos Aires, founded in 2008 .

history

The band, founded in 2008 in the Caballito district of Buenos Aires, consists of singer Julio Irigoyen, guitarists Leandro Martinez and Leandro Alvarez, bassist Julio Di Benedetto, keyboardist Germán Mamotiuk and drummer Ezequiel Liberanés. The group was founded under the name "Coralies Last Kiss". In February 2009 the group played as part of "Screamo Fest 3" with Silverstein , Dar Sangre and DENY, among others . In August of the same year, the group supported Blessthefall . Coralies was already playing with Alesana in October 2008 . In November 2011, Coralies was the support act for the Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive , which played in Buenos Aires as part of their "South America Tour". In October of the same year, the band was the opening act for Bring Me the Horizon . In the meantime the band has changed its name to "Coralies".

In March 2012 the debut album MMXII was released on the Avalancha Producciones label . In April 2012, Coralies opened up for Architects , Whitechapel and The Devil Wears Prada in Buenos Aires. The Devil Wears Prada played there as part of their "Dead Throne Tour". In September 2012 the group played for the first time in neighboring Chile, in Santiago de Chile and Valparaíso as part of their MMXII tour.
