Dar Sangre is a metalcore band from Buenos Aires , Argentina, founded in 2004 .
history
The group was formed in 2004 from the merger of several bands that were known in the Argentine underground scene. The musicians of the group are Matias Espinoza ( vocals ), Pedro Badessich ( drums ), the bassist Ivan Resnik and the two guitarists Juanchy Badessich and Federico Dimarco. Ramiro Arias was the band's first vocalist before Espinoza replaced them.
In 2005 the first CD was released, a demo with 9 tracks under the name Primeros Auxilios . This was recorded and distributed entirely in-house. In 2008 the debut album Un Corazón Por Cada Ciudad was released, also with 9 tracks. The drumming was recorded by Marti Canrrizo, a musician from the former band ANIMAL . The rest of the recordings on the album were made by Javier Casas in the Infire Studios. At this point the group was signed by the Argentine label Inmune Records.
After the group switched to the indie label Vegan Records , recordings began on the second album, which was released in 2011 under the title Imperios Por Derrumba . This album was produced in the Unison studios by Gustavo Cerati and mastered by Tue Madsen (already worked with Sick of It All , Dark Tranquility and The Haunted ) and Jacob Olsen in the Ant Farm Studio in Denmark . A music video was also shot for the song Regreso .
Dar Sangre has already played with big names in the scene like Terror , It Dies Today and Throwdown from the USA . The band has also played with Hatebreed , Comeback Kid , Silverstein and As I Lay Dying . On March 4th 2012 the Imperios Por Derrumba Tour starts .
style
music
The band plays modern metalcore , which is influenced by melodic death metal bands of the Swedish school such as In Flames and Dark Tranquility . The vocals are dominated by screamings , shouting and growls . Clean singing is rare.

The lyrics, which are written by the musicians themselves, mainly focus on relationships , internal struggles (e.g. depression , lovesickness ) and poetry . The band's lyrics have all been written in Spanish so far .
