Javier Casas (musician)

Javier Casas (born January 10, 1979 in Almagro , Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentinian hardcore punk guitarist and music producer who has already worked with nationally known bands, including DENY , Dar Sangre and En Nuestros Corazones . He is a musician with Nueva Ética and founder of the hardcore punk band Sudarshana . He runs his own recording studio, called Infire Studios , located in Caballito , Buenos Aires. He is vegan and lives the straight edge way of life.

Career

Javier Casas was already active in the Argentinian hardcore scene in 1994. He founded the group Redencion with Lisandro Pitbull, a later musician with Nueva Ética . Just one year later, Casas began the first production work together with Gabriel Ruiz Diaz from Caputecu Machu . Together with a few members of Sudarshana, he founded the music project Infire . This project wasn't supposed to play a single live show. The name of today's recording studio goes back to this project. This was opened in 2006.

Nueva Etica

In 1998 Casas and six other musicians founded the hardcore punk band Nueva Ética , one of the most famous bands in the country. The band has released four albums to date, which are sold worldwide. Javier Casas also worked on 3l1t3 (pronounced: elite ) as a producer. With Nueva Ética he has toured South America , Europe and Japan . On May 26, 2012, a music DVD was released for the Argentine market. The CDs were produced by Alveran Records , Vegan Records , Inmune Records and New Eden Records , among others .

Sudarshana

Two years before Nueva Ética was founded, Casas founded the hardcore punk band Sudarshana with musicians from other hardcore bands . Three albums and one extended play have been released since the group was founded . As with Nueva Ética, Sudarshana also sing about topics related to the straight-edge lifestyle and veganism. The group's first tape was released in 1997 under the name Sacrificio

Javier Casas runs the Infire Studios recording studio in Caballito , Buenos Aires . As a producer he has already worked for Dar Sangre , En Nuestros Corazones , DENY , Nueva Ética , 90 Raices , Melian and Mi Ultima Solucion .
