Nueva Ética is a hardcore punk band from Buenos Aires . It is assigned to the Buenos Aires Hardcore . Members of the band live straight edge and vegan , which affects the way the band acts and their lyrics.
history
In 1998 the singers Mariano Punga, Beto Bulldog and Gerardo Macumbado, the two guitarists Javier Casas and Lisandro Pitbull, bassist Javier Shana and drummer Bruno Tuko founded the band Nueva Ética.
In 1999 Nueva Etica released the first demo CD. The group quickly gained a good reputation in the Brazilian scene and in 2002 the group was also well known in Uruguay and Chile with the release of the debut album La Venganza De Los Justos . The group signed a recording deal with New Eden Records ( North America ) and Alveran Records ( Europe ). On May 26, 2006, the band's second album was finally released under the title Inquebrantable . This album was mixed by Tue Madsen , who had already worked with Sick of It All , The Haunted and Raunchy .
In 2007 Nueva Ética toured Europe. In May 2008 the third album was released on Vegan Records . This was called Momento de la Verdad . In November of the same year, 3L1T3 followed via Inmune Records and Alveran Records. In March 2009 Nueva Etica played in Argentina , Brazil , Peru , Colombia and Costa Rica as part of the 3L1T3 Tour Latinoamericano. In August of the same year the group toured Europe. On this tour the group played in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Austria, Great Britain and Spain. At the first concert of the tour Nueva Ética was supported by Death Before Dishonor . From May 2nd to May 10th, 2009 Nueva Ética toured Japan . There the group played in Kashima , Koriyama , Kobe , Tokyo (two appearances), Niigata (two appearances) and Yokohama . On May 21, 2009 a concert followed as support for the German band Caliban in Rosario . Together with Dar Sangre , the band gave a concert in Chile on June 27, 2009 . In 2009 Nueva Ética played at the Belgian Ieperfest .
Javier Casas also works as a producer and has already produced CDs for Dar Sangre and DENY .
