Cord Bockhop

Cord Bockhop (born April 6, 1967 in Nienburg / Weser ) is a German local politician ( CDU ). He's since 2011, initially for eight years District of Diepholz .

Life

Bockhop grew up in Graue, Asendorf community (Diepholz district) . After graduating from high school in his native Nienburg / Weser and completing two years of military service as a temporary soldier , he studied law in Osnabrück . From 1996 to 1998 he worked as a legal advisor at the Lower Saxony Tierseuchenkasse in Hanover . From 1998 to 2001 he acted as general representative of the city director in Lohne (Oldenburg) . In November 2001 he became mayor of the municipality of Stuhr and exercised this office after his re-election from 2006 to 2011. As a single candidate, but with the support of the CDU , the SPD and Alliance 90 / The Greens , he was on 11 September 2011, 61.2% of the vote district of Diepholz elected and took office on 1 November 2011th

Bockhop is married and has three children.
