Cornatel (German Harbach village , Härwesdorf or Harrendorf , såksesch Harwesterf , Hungarian Hortobágyfalva ) is a place in Sibiu county in Transylvania , Romania , with about 390 inhabitants (2004).
The local train station, which opened in 1910, was once an important stop for the “ Wusch ”, a narrow-gauge railway . In Cornățel, a branch line to Vurpăr branched off from the Sibiu to Agnita line . While traffic to Vurpăr was stopped in the 1990s, the rest of the railway operations have been inactive since 2001.
