Cornelia Kazis

Cornelia Kazis (* 1952 in Basel ) is a Swiss journalist and educator .

Life

After completing her studies, Kazis worked as a primary school teacher for eight years , then as a specialist editor for educational issues for 30 years. In addition to her work for Radio SRF , she is also active as a journalist. a. as the author of several books and through articles in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung on educational issues.

In 2000 she was awarded the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize for her work last days in NZZ Folio . In 2003 she received the Zurich Journalism Prize for her work, Horror of the Near , which dealt with nursing.

Kazis was a freelance editor at DRS 1 and DRS 2 until autumn 2017 and gives training courses and lectures on educational topics. She lives in Basel.
