Cornelius Freundt
Cornelius Freundt (* 1535 in Plauen , according to other sources also 1539 or 1540; † August 26, 1591 in Zwickau ) was a German composer and cantor .
Little is known about his life. He was cantor in Borna and from 1565 in St. Marien , Zwickau. He also worked as a teacher in the council school in Zwickau.
