Cornelius Rudolf Vietor (clergyman, 1863)
Cornelius Rudolf Vietor , also: Cornelius Rudolph Vietor , Kornelius Rudolf Vietor (born October 2, 1863 in Bremen , † July 14, 1932 in Hude (Oldenburg) ) was a German Protestant clergyman and writer .
Life
Cornelius Rudolf Vietor was the twelfth child of Pastor Cornelius Rudolph Vietor . After attending grammar school in Bremen , he studied Protestant theology at the universities in Erlangen , Tübingen , Greifswald and Marburg . He worked as an assistant preacher in Bremen, Bochum , Cologne and Barmen . In 1889 he went on a nine-month study trip to the United States . From 1894, Vietor was pastor of the Sankt-Stephani congregation in Bremen.
In addition to his work as a clergyman , Cornelius Rudolf Vietor wrote novels , stories and humoresques .
