Cornigliano is crossed by State Road 1 ( Strada Statale ), Via Aurelia . In the northern part of the district, the A10 motorway begins on the Polcevera viaduct with the main Genoa- Ventimiglia link , which can be reached via the Genoa airport motorway slip road near Sestri Ponente.

The district is connected to the rail traffic by the somewhat shabby train station on the Ventimiglia – Genoa railway line. Plans are currently being discussed to demolish this station and build a new one in an area further to the east (closer to what is now the city center).

There is a stop for the AMT Volabuss , a shuttle service between the central Genova Piazza Principe train station and Cristoforo Colombo Airport, in front of the station .
