The Craig Ranch Regional Park is a 60.6 acre green space in the city of North Las Vegas in Clark County in the US state of Nevada , in the United States . It is located on Craig Road and Commerce Street and west of US Highway 93 (also known as the Great Basin Highway ). The Craig Ranch Golf Course used to be on the same site. The development plan for the park was started in 2006 and approved by the city in 2007.

The first phase of the project began on August 24, 2009. This construction work included:

• Underground work
• Parking spaces
• the manufacture of a dog zone
• Shade and playgrounds
• Completion of the sanitary facilities
• Creation of walking paths

At the beginning of December 2010, 90 percent of this phase I work was completed.

The second phase should begin in summer 2011. This final phase includes:

• Gardening and landscaping
• Extension of the dog zone
• Expansion of the playgrounds
• Creation of additional shadow places
• Renovation of the irrigation system
• 2 small baseball facilities for teenagers
• 1 skate park
• 6 tennis courts
• 4 volleyball courts
• 2 basketball courts

The official opening is planned for the end of 2012.
