Cramerton is a small town in Gaston County in the US state of North Carolina . According to the 2000 census , it had a population of 2,976 in an area of ​​10.0 km². The population density is 321 per km². Cramerton used to be called Maysworth .

Cramerton lies on an elevation at 189 m. In the southwestern part of the urban area are the Berry Mountain with 281 m and the Cramer Mountain with 259 m.
