The Crane Creek is a creek that rises from a pool nearly 240 m above sea level on Lee Mountain , about three kilometers west-northwest of the Marion County Regional Airport . The stream initially flows a few hundred meters south, before moving more towards the southeast. He turns east on Arkansas State Route 202 , Fallen Ash Road . It crosses Arkansas State Route 178 about four hundred yards from the southwest end of the airfield's runway and continues east. East of Flippin , after having passed under a railway line on the Missouri Pacific Railroad , it flows into the Ash Creek trap at an altitude of 184 m . Most of its course lies in undeveloped terrain, mostly meadows.
