Crissiumal , officially Portuguese Município de Crissiumal , is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul . As of July 1, 2019, the population was estimated to be 13,448 inhabitants, who live on a municipality area of ​​around 363.6 km² and are called Crissiumalenses ( crissiumalenses ). The parish is 127th of the 497 municipalities in the state.

The community is known as "the land of the goalies" as it is home to many goalies .

Crissiumal is one of the largest milk producing regions in Brazil. Around 70,000 liters of milk are produced here every day.
