Crysis 3 is a computer game from the German development studio Crytek . The first person shooter is to Crysis and Crysis 2 the final part of the trilogy, and is published in Germany on February 21, 2013. The game uses the CryEngine 3 and runs on Windows as well as on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles .
action
Crysis 3 takes place in 2047 in completely overgrown and destroyed New York. In Crysis 2, "Prophet" commits suicide, but since his spirit lives on in his nanosuit, the body of "Alcatraz" has been connected to his spirit. Together with his old friend Psycho, they are investigating the activity of CELL, an elite private army of Crynet Systems, in the Libertydome, a dome built over New York to contain the Manhattan virus and the Ceph. In the meantime, all other wearers of a Nanosuit have been cut out of them, but a large number of Nanosuit wearers have died as a result of shock from the painful procedure. Psycho was also cut out of his suit. CELL now has a monopoly in the energy supply. They produce the energy in a system in the nanodome. One wants to prevent this at first, but the Prophet always has visions, triggered by the Ceph. As the player finds out later, the energy in the Nanodome is obtained from the Alpha-Ceph. This is then released by the player and the final fight with the Ceph begins. In the end, the player kills the Alpha Ceph, but he throws you into space. There, a CELL orbital weapon is used to shoot a Ceph mother ship that enters Earth orbit through a wormhole. This will be destroyed and the Ceph will be destroyed. The player is thrown back to earth in a sequence. This is followed by the credits in which the suit is transformed into the shape of "Prophet", as the nanites of the suit can now transform into any imaginable shape.
Gameplay
Multiplayer
The multiplayer mode contains a total of twelve cards, which can be played with eight game modes. There are, among other things, the modes team deathmatch (two teams of 8 players each compete against each other and whoever kills a certain number of opponents fastest, wins), hunters (14 players fight against two hunters equipped with nanosuits and bows and must as long as possible survival. If they are killed by a hunter, they become one themselves) and crash site (the teams must permanently occupy a point placed randomly on the map in order to get points. Whoever has the higher number of points after a certain time wins ).
