The Cube Rock ( Spanish Roca Cubo , both sides roughly translated cube rock ) is a rocky cliff in front of the northeastern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 5 km southeast of Cape Scrymgeour of Andersson Island in the southern entrance to the Antarctic Sound .

The descriptive name of the rock was first recorded on an Argentine map from 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names converted the original name into English in 1964.
