The Cummings Cove is a bay on the west coast of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located between Jebsen Point and Porteous Point .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations carried out a rough map in 1933. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey refined this in 1947. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1955 after Edmund Thomas Cummings (* 1925), radio operator of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey at Cape Geddes on Laurie Island in 1946 and on Deception Island in following year.
