The Curauer Au , often also correctly referred to as Curau , is a river in the communities of Stockelsdorf , Ahrensbök and Ratekau in the Ostholstein district , Schleswig-Holstein .

It rises from the Curau Moor in the Ahrensböker terminal moraine east of Dakendorf and flows eastwards, passes the town of Curau in the north, then flows in a north-easterly direction and flows into the Schwartau at Rohlsdorf , one of whose most important tributaries it is. A tributary of the Curau is the Schwinkenrader Mühlenbach, where the remains of the water mill are still preserved. It rises in the Schwinkenrader Forest in the Böbs part of Ahrensbök.
