Eisfeld became the scientific director of the institute. In addition to Eisfeld, recognized scientists such as Melchior Palyi, Willi Prion and Konrad Mellerovicz taught. Eisfeld remained head of the teaching institute until 1943, when it had to close due to the war. By then, over three hundred managers had successfully completed their studies. Eisfeld was later called the "founder of the savings bank business". He and his students led u. a. the savings bank company comparison .

The emergency ordinance of September 19, 1931 and the 1st implementing ordinance for it of December 15, 1931 created the auditor . He should be well educated and experienced enough to guarantee the required quality of the compulsory examination of degrees . The admission as an auditor could only be granted after a technical examination. Eisfeld's help was sought in forming the examination boards. In addition to his seminar for business administration, he was also approved a seminar for auditing as a center for auditing questions at Hamburg University in 1931. He became a member of the examination and admissions committee at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, which was responsible for Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and the state of Braunschweig.

After the National Socialists came to power in 1933, the Hamburg Faculty of Law and Political Science elected Eisfeld as dean. He had previously stated that he did not intend to become a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party. He remained dean until 1938. In autumn 1933 he became a member of the National Socialist Legal Guardian Association, in 1938 of the National Socialist Altherrenbunds and in 1942 of the Reichskolonialbund , at an unknown time also of the National Socialist People's Welfare and the Reichs Luftschutzbund . Despite the pressure, he never became a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party .
