Curt Liebich (born November 17, 1868 in Wesel , † December 12, 1937 in Gutach ) was a German painter, graphic artist and sculptor.

After initial training in Dresden , Liebich switched to the Academic University of Fine Arts in Berlin . From 1890 he studied at the Grand Ducal Saxon Art School in Weimar , where he met the Black Forest painter Wilhelm Hasemann . In 1896 he married Hasemann's sister-in-law and settled in Gutach. His painting dealt mainly with rural and village life in the Gutach Valley. With his postcard motifs he contributed to making the Bollenhut and the traditional farmhouse of the Black Forest internationally known. As an illustrator, he designed vignettes and title pages for books and magazines as well as advertising graphics. With Hasemann he was a founder of the Gutach painters' colony.

Liebich was made an honorary citizen in Gutach in 1923. In 1933 he drafted the Gutacher honorary citizenship certificates for Gauleiter Robert Wagner and Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler .

In 2005 the Hasemann-Liebich art museum opened in Gutach with works by the two Black Forest painters.
