Curth Anatol Tichy

Curth Anatol Tichy (born August 7, 1923 in Vienna , † July 28, 2004 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian actor .

From 1944 to 1946 Tichy completed the Max Reinhardt Seminar . He began his acting career in Salzburg and at the Wiener Theater in Café Parkring . He then played in Kaiserslautern , Bielefeld , Lübeck and Hamburg . Since the 1960s he had an engagement at the Vienna Burgtheater .

Tichy was also seen in various Austrian television series, including in Kottan determined (in which he played the clumsy assistant Alfred Schrammel in 19 episodes ), Oberinspektor Marek , The adventures of the good soldier Schwejk in the Merian family , and in some episodes in Ein echter Wiener does not go under .

In September 1986, when Claus Peymann took over as director of the Burgtheater in Vienna, he retired.

Curth Anatol Tichy found his final resting place in the municipal cemetery in Salzburg (grave no. 060.06.1.001).
