Kurt Schoenberg

Kurt Christian Heinrich Schönberg (born December 4, 1877 in Frankfurt am Main ; † December 3, 1948 in Burg auf Fehmarn ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator in the province of Schleswig-Holstein .

Life

In 1912, Schönberg provisionally took over the office of district administrator in the Sonderburg district and served as district administrator until 1919/20. In 1920, the county was dissolved and the district had to because of the result of the Treaty of Versailles set plebiscite in Schleswig to Denmark transferable. At the same time, Schönberg moved to the Duchy of Lauenburg as district administrator in 1920 . In 1927 he was threatened with impeachment and was given leave of absence. In 1931 Schönberg was put into temporary retirement .

As a district administrator in Lauenburg, Schönberg headed the state municipal association of the Duchy of Lauenburg and founded the Lauenburgische Landeskraftwerke AG (LAULA) with funds from the state municipal association in 1924. After his temporary retirement he worked as a board member and later as a supervisory board member for LAULA.
