Cyborg 2087 is a 1966 American science fiction film directed by Franklin Adreon .
action
In 1966, Professor Marx discovered a means with which one could control people via telepathy . In 2087 cyborgs will be created in human form and controlled by the agent. Some cyborgs have managed to break free from control. They send one of their own, Garth, back to 1966, just before the professor makes his discovery. Garth is supposed to convince Marx to keep his discovery a secret.
The opponents of the free cyborgs send two men, also cyborgs, after Garth, who are supposed to kill him. Garth enlists the help of Sharon, the professor's assistant. It is supposed to help him remove a mechanism from his body. This mechanism helps his pursuers to track him down. Sharon's friend Dr. Zeller successfully operates the mechanism from the cyborg's body. Garth and Dr. Zeller try to electrocute the pursuers, but the attempt fails. Garth telepathically instructs Sharon to bring the professor to him. He can overwhelm his pursuers and travel into the future with Marx. Marx realizes what his discovery will do and agrees to keep it secret. As a result, Garth disappears while the people who helped him can no longer remember him.
