Cyril Nocenti (born January 28, 1982 in Sallanches ) is a former French ski racer . His specialty was downhill .

biography

Nocenti drove his first FIS race in December 1997, starts in the European Cup followed in March 2002. His best result in the European Cup succeeded with sixth place in the departure of Veysonnaz in February 2006. A year later, he drove in the two runs of Sarntal / Reinswald two more times in the top ten.

On December 28, 2006, the Frenchman started the World Cup in the downhill from Bormio for the first time , but could not finish the race. In the next three races he crossed the finish line, but did not yet achieve the points. In his fifth World Cup race, the descent in Kvitfjell on March 10, 2007, he achieved his best World Cup result with 18th place, and won World Cup points for the first time. He could not repeat this result in the next few years, it remained his only place in the World Cup points, i.e. among the top 30.
