From Caboolture to Harlin (76 km) the D'Aguilar Highway is called 'State Road 85', from Harlin to Yarraman (45 km) 'State Road 17'. From Yarraman to Nanango it connects the New England Highway with the Burnett Highway for 21 km as the 'A3 State Road' . Planned bypass of Kilcoy

In January 2009, the Department of Transport and Main Roads published details of the proposed Kilcoy bypass. The suggested route follows an abandoned railway line and would thus impair the existing infrastructure as little as possible.
