Désirée Bethge (* 1952 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German television journalist and media trainer .

Life

Bethge studied from 1977 to 1982 at the University of Tübingen as well as in Frankfurt and Paris and completed her studies in German and Romance languages ​​in 1981 with a master's degree . She then worked from 1983 to 1985 as an assistant director at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt . After speech training and physical training, she switched to radio at Hessischer Rundfunk . In 1984 she became a spokesperson and presenter for the regional news magazine Hessenschau . In 1985 she presented the SWF talk show Europalaver with Charly Weiss and from 1987 to 1990 with Jan Hofer Show Biss bei Hessen 3 . In addition, she worked from 1986 in the editorial team of 9 Aktuell of the Süddeutscher Rundfunk .

She gained greater fame in 1988 by moderating the WDR's political magazine ZAK . Vogue magazine wrote that Désirée Bethge was “without competition in the German media landscape in terms of intelligence, charm and innovation.” In 1990 she presented stern TV ( RTL ) and in 1996 Focus TV ( ProSieben ) and 7 1/2 ( Arte ).

In 1999 Bethge founded the company ImageX Désirée Bethge TV-Coaching . Together with her husband, the former ProSieben boss Gerd Berger , she organized weekend seminars for people in front of the camera. Later she coached future trainers, executives, consultants and personnel developers under the umbrella of Fun-Time-Sport (FTS) and wrote regularly for the newspaper Der Tagesspiegel .

Bethge works in various companies as a burnout therapist, anxiety / stress therapist, coach for performance and business communication and systemic coach.
