Doerthe Binkert

Dörthe Binkert (born January 1, 1949 in Hagen ) is a German author.

Binkert grew up in Frankfurt am Main . She completed her studies in German , political science and art history in Frankfurt , Münster and Zurich with a doctorate . She has lived in Zurich since 1975 and initially worked as an editor for the Sauerländer publishing house . In 1986 she moved to Kreuz-Verlag and in 1995 to Scherz Verlag , where she first worked as an editor, later as editor-in-chief and program manager. Before working as a freelance author, literary agent and publicist from 2007 , she worked as a program consultant for Pendo Verlag . Her works have been translated into several languages.
