Düzgün TV is a German television station from Lünen in Westphalia . It started broadcasting in 2006. It is the first national television station that primarily targets Alevis .
Admission, shareholder and management
Approval was granted by the State Media Authority in North Rhine-Westphalia . The applicant was DTV Düzgün TV Produktion und Werbeagentur GmbH from Lünen, which acted on behalf of DTTV Sender-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH . The Lüner entrepreneur and kebab manufacturer Hidir Düzgün owns 76 percent of the shares in this company, which was still being established at the time. His nephews Bülent Düzgün and Yalcin Düzgün hold the remaining 24 percent equally. Yalcin Düzgün is also the sole managing director.
aims
One of the goals of the station is to help Turks living in Germany with integration , but also to bring Turkey closer to people of German origin. And the transmitter of life and culture which does not officially grouping in Turkey within the wants Islam recognized Alevis , of which one million live just in Germany, represent. In this context, when selecting the broadcast content, efforts are made to ensure interreligious dialogue : in addition to other forms of Islam, other religions such as Christianity should also be taken into account. Another stated concern of Düzgün-TV is to promote the EU in Turkey and to promote further democratization.
program
The station, which is aiming for a full 24-hour program, initially broadcast six hours a day in 2006 with in-house productions. The first programs on Düzgün TV , which was conceived as an entertainment channel , also include news , press reviews , a German course , a political magazine and the program Women in Europe . The mostly Turkish-language program is to be broadcast with German subtitles in the long term .
Current situation
In the early summer of 2007, DTV Düzgün TV Produktion und Werbeagentur GmbH filed for insolvency. As the Ruhrnachrichten reported on September 27, 2007, the operating company, DTTV Sender-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH , moved from the LünTEC industrial estate to the Wethmarheide industrial estate. According to the company and the state authority, the applicant's bankruptcy does not affect the broadcasting operations of Düzgün TV . The station's homepage can no longer be reached. However, the operative business has ceased. Production is now also taking place in Turkey. Three permanent employees are still employed in Lünen.
