DFDS Lisco
AB DFDS Lisco (now part of DFDS Seaways ) was a Lithuanian shipping company based in Klaipėda . Your German branch was DFDS Seaways Baltic GmbH . A total of three combined freight and passenger ferries ( RoPax ferries ) still connect Germany and the Baltic States for the shipping company DFDS , three more connected Sweden and the Baltic States, as well as another ship Germany and Russia.

DFDS Lisco had branches in Klaipėda, Kiel and Limassol . The parent company was the shipping company DFDS, based in Copenhagen, which still exists. The core market of DFDS Lisco was the connections between Germany and Lithuania. In addition to freight (all types of rolling loads, containers as well as project and heavy cargo), ferry passages on the RoPax ferries between Germany, Sweden, Lithuania and Russia were also offered.
Since the takeover of Norfolkline, the new DFDS A / S has been organized into two business areas: DFDS Seaways and DFDS Logistics. DFDS Seaways is the new name for all shipping related services previously known as Norfolkline, DFDS Tor Line and DFDS Lisco.

- Kiel - Klaipėda: eight departures a week; used ships Victoria Seaways , Regina Seaways and Patria Seaways ; Travel time 23½ hours (still operated by DFDS)
- Karlshamn - Klaipėda: seven departures a week; ships deployed Athena Seaways , Optima Seaways and Patria Seaways ; Driving time 14 hours (still operated by DFDS)
- Paldiski - Kapellskär: six departures a week; deployed ship Liverpool Seaways ; Travel time approx. 11 hours
- Mukran – Klaipėda - discontinued in 2013

Accidents
On the night of October 8th to 9th, 2010, an explosion occurred on the upper deck of the Lisco Gloria ferry, which was then on the route from Kiel to Klaipėda , about 11 km north of the Schleswig-Holstein island of Fehmarn . The ship caught fire. All 236 passengers and crew members were rescued.
On October 2, 2018, heavy smoke developed in the engine room on the Regina Seaways ferry on the voyage from Kiel to Klaipėda , Lithuania near the coast of the Russian enclave Kaliningrad . The 294 passengers and 41 crew members were uninjured.
