The DTM AMG Mercedes C-Class was a touring car and from 2004 a prototype racing car from Mercedes-Benz and its subsidiary AMG . The car was designed for exclusive use in the German Touring Car Championship , where it was used from 1994 to 1996 and from 2004 to 2011 in the German Touring Car Masters . The C-Class is the most successful racing car in DTM history with 85 victories in 159 races, 6 drivers, 7 teams and 4 brands.
