Dagmar Heizmann-Leucke (2010)

Dagmar Heizmann-Leucke (* 1967 in Schorndorf ; † January 31, 2020 in Wiesbaden ) was a German publisher, musician, conductor of children's choirs and songwriter.

Life

After graduating from high school, she trained as a biological-technical assistant (BTA) and worked at Heidelberg University , in Ludwigshafen and Darmstadt . Her work as a copywriter was preceded by working on recordings, musical and concert tours and training to become a choir director. From 1994 she was managing director of the music publisher "Haus der Musik". For 10 years she was the musical director of the children's choir “Die Mini Maxis” in Wiesbaden ; She also became known as a lyricist of songs that have been released as song and musical productions on sound carriers.

She wrote texts and libretti for 16 children's musicals and several cantatas. About 150 lyrics from her pen were set to music , mainly by her husband, Klaus Heizmann , and published on CDs and song books.

Dagmar Heizmann-Leucke was married to Klaus Heizmann since 1994 and had three children with him.
