history

After Dagoba had released two demos, they started writing songs in the current composition in 2000 and released their first EP Release the Fury in November 2001 , which contains six songs. After that they went on a little tour and after a break they released their first self-titled album in 2003. After that, they toured worldwide for over a year, playing as supporting act for Machine Head , Fear Factory and In Flames , among others . In 2005 they wrote songs again for a new album, which was released in February 2006 under the name What Hell Is About . The producer was Tue Madsen, who already worked as such for Mnemic and The Haunted . In addition, Simen "ICS Vortex" Hestnæs (former bass player / singer of Dimmu Borgir ) was brought in as guest singer . After the release, they went on tour again, where they played with Sepultura as the opening act for In Flames, for example .

In October 2008, the third studio album, Face the Colossus, was again produced by Tue Madsen .
