Guilt and Forgiveness is a German television film by Karola Hattop from 2018 . It is the pilot of the Heimat film series Home in the Mountains .

Lawyer Lisa Huber moves back from Munich to the Allgäu to open her own law firm . She wants to set up the law firm for her family in order to make amends for the injustice that has happened. She once gave her pasture to the Leitners in the valley because Sebastian Leitner sees Lorenz Huber as the cause of his son's accidental death 20 years ago.
