Dairiki Hara

Dairiki Hara ( Japanese 原 大力 , Hara Dairiki ; born May 22, 1959 in Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese jazz musician ( drums ).

Hara played in the Japanese jazz scene from the 1980s; The first recordings were made in 1991 with guitarist Yoshiaki Miyanoue . Since then he has worked a. a. with Junko Ōnishi ( Wow , 1993), with whom he performed at the 1996 Montreux Jazz Festival and the Stuttgart Jazzopen , and with Manabu Ohishi , Nao Takeuchi , Yoshiaki Okayasu , Seiji Tada , Shigeo Aramaki , and from the 2000s also with Satomi Kawakami , Yuki Arimasa , Hisatsugu Suzuki and Shoji Yoshitaka. In the field of jazz he was involved in 14 recording sessions between 1991 and 2005. He appears with his own trio in Tokyo jazz clubs.
