Forest Chapel (Külsheim)
The forest chapel (also forest chapel in Schönert ) in Külsheim in the Main-Tauber district was built in 1765.

The chapel is located in Gewann Schönert, on a hiking trail from Külsheim to Bronnbach.
history
In 1765 the stone part of the forest chapel was built in Schönert. The chapel is mentioned in the Külsheim chronicle of the surgeon Spießberger. A wooden porch was added around 1900. In 1970 a separate wooden bell tower was added.
Chapel building and equipment
The partly open forest chapel, made mainly of wood, is adorned with a statue of the Virgin Mary from South America.
