Daisy Rebecca Lowe (born January 27, 1989 in London ) is a British model and actress .

Life

Daisy Lowe is the daughter of Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale , who announced this in 2004 and was the godfather to date.

Lowe started modeling between the ages of twelve and 14. In 2005 she was booked by underwear brand Agent Provacateur . She graced the cover of Italian Vogue in 2006. She and her boyfriend at the time took nudes for id magazine . In 2008 she was in a relationship with Mark Ronson and walked the catwalk for the first time for Burberry and Vivenne Westwood in London . She became the new face of Agent Provacateur and also appeared on the UK, French and Japanese covers of Vogue .

In 2009 she starred in the drama The First Days of Spring . She previously gained acting experience with cameo appearances in television series such as Class of 2008 and Xpose . In 2012 she played a double role in Confine . She played a leading role in the 2013 film Geography of the Hapless Heart 2 . In 2016 she made a cameo in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie , and in 2017 she had a cast in Tulip Fever . In 2016 she was a participant in the dance show Strictly Come Dancing .

She criticizes the emaciation of many of her colleagues (actresses and models) and is against diets.
