The Dale Wilde Band is a Scottish-Irish folk band from the Stuttgart area, founded in 1994 . The band has been in their current line-up since 2005.

Dale Wilde, a Scottish native from Glasgow , began her career as a child. As a young girl, she won several youth competitions, including with The Dubliners . She gives concerts all over Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland, including at folk festivals.

In addition to many songs up to 300 years old, Dale Wilde's repertoire also includes a number of self-composed and modernly arranged titles, for example the song And I miss you so , which was released in 2001 on the album The Banks of Red Roses . Many of the songs are performed in Gaelic or in the Scottish dialect. Mostly they are about emigration, about freedom struggles, but also about hope and love. The songs are commented on by Dale Wilde.
