The Dallknatten ( Norwegian ) is a rocky outcrop in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the XU-Fjella it rises at the head of the Gabbibotnen .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1987 after William Dall (1913-1996), a leader of the resistance movement against the German occupation of Norway during World War II in Kristiansund .
