Damian Rączka (born August 5, 1987 in Wodzisław Śląski ) is a Polish football player .

Career

Rączka played in youth for FC Schalke 04 and Borussia Mönchengladbach , with whose second team he also played in the Regionalliga Nord in the 2006/07 season . For the 2007/08 season he returned to FC Schalke 04, with whose second team he qualified for the Regionalliga West. However, he left the club again after this season and joined the second team of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . In April 2009 he moved to the Bulgarian first division club Lokomotive Mesdra , for which he was used in eight A Grupa games by summer 2010 . After his team was relegated from the first division, he returned to Germany and was initially without a club for six months before signing a contract with the North Thuringian league club FSV Wacker 90 Nordhausen . In 2012 he was promoted to the NOFV-Oberliga (South Staffel) and in 2013 the march through to the Regionalliga Nordost . For the 2014/15 season he joined the Krefeld top division club VfR Fischeln . After three years, he moved to SV Hönnepel-Niedermörmter in 2017 .

Rączka took part in the 2007 U20 World Cup with the Polish U-20 national team.
