The Orquesta Dan Den or Juan Carlos Alfonso y su Dan Den is a Cuban salsa group . Her music style combines elements of Son, Guaracha, Rumba, Bolero, Salsa, Songo and independent swing rhythm. The name Dan Den is derived from the sound of the campanas. Dan Den is a Cuban music group founded in late 1988 by the pianist and musical director Juan Carlos Alfonso . She has toured the world. Barbara Dounays, Fernandez Rosales and Dayron Martin Cañete sing Roney Alvarez García plays timbales , Midanys Riera González Güiro , Serguei Rodríguez Torres bongos and background vocals, Rubén Pérez Baluja congas , Adrián Algota Guerra, Etnecy Hernandez Santiesteban and Fidel Lanier Romero playing trombone , Aisar Hernández Segundo the bass .

Career

Juan Carlos Alfonso (born May 30, 1963 Bejucal, Cuba ) founded the band in December 1988 on the occasion of the annual Charanga festival in his home town of Bejucal, which is attended by over 10,000 people. The great success quickly made it known in the Cuban music scene and was played at numerous dance events in the country. The first album was recorded under the label Egrem, followed in 1992 by "Amame Con Tu Experiencia" after recordings and live performances in Mexico . "Ámame Con Tu Experiencia" became a huge hit across Latin America . In 1993 the Orquesta Dan Den played at the Feria de Cali . The arrangements and piano solos by Juan Carlos Alfonso received very good reviews and even surpassed the performance by Celia Cruz . The Orquesta Dan Den received the Best Tropical Band award. Her songs like "Ojos Que Te Ven", "Ritmo Dan Den", "Viejo Lazaro" and "Mi Cuerpo" became hits on their tour in America and Europe. Their music was shaped in the Ataré district in Havana . In 2003 the Orquesta Dan Den celebrated its 15th anniversary and performed further tours in Mexico, the USA and Europe . Her last album so far contains hits like "Parte el Alma", "Siempre Hay un Ojo", "Que te Ve" and "Salsa en Ataré".
